Learning Spaces

A Learning Space is anywhere that the learner is.

But it also has to be somewhere that the learner wants to be. Just like good product design, whether the learning space is virtual or physical, if it is not inviting, people will not use it unless they have to. What kind of environment does that create and how does it affect the learning within that space? Think of straight rows of desks and chairs and the kind of learning there vs. reconfigurable tables and comfortable chairs. What does the space say about the value of learning?
