Join this workshop to learn how you can use wikis in your courses for group projects, field notes, co-creating reference materials and collaborative class note-taking, among other uses. Examples will be drawn from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. We'll be using a very "hands on" approach next week. After a brief introduction to how we've used wikis at Providence College--complete with student reactions and faculty reflections on wiki assignments in different courses, we'll look at samples of student work. Next, we'll brainstorm about ideas for how to use wikis to enhance YOUR courses and/or departmental tasks. The bulk of our time, however, will be spent creating, editing, and critiquing our wikis. This promises to be a lively and engaging session--we're looking forward to seeing you in Boston!
